Smolensk Conspiracy Ditched by Polish Government

This fine article in Foreign Policy shows that the Polish government has pretty much given up on the Smolensk conspiracy, which was a major focus of party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski. After years of claiming that the Russians downed the plane and this fact was covered up by the previous government and promising to find new evidence, none was found. The investigation was dropped. Just another example of a nationalist right-wing government selling huge piles of BS in order to rile up nationalist sentiment and get elected.
